The state government of Himachal Pradesh with the government of higher education releases the ePass scholarship scheme. Electronic Payment and Application System for Scholarship (ePass), is the scholarship scheme in which the students who are eligible can apply online. This scholarship scheme is for those students who are brilliant at their academics but due to the shortfall of money are not able to complete or continue their higher education. This scholarship scheme helps the eligible students to continue their higher studies and help them financially.

This scholarship scheme is released for the welfare of the state, hence, those who are the citizen of Himachal Pradesh can get the benefit from this scholarship scheme. The government of different states releases this scholarship scheme, each for the students of their state. But few who are eligible can apply or register for this scholarship. The government provides scholarship funds and stipend to the students. Few selected to get their fee paid directly to the college or university from the government and few students get the amount paid in their bank accounts. The students those who get their scholarship fund paid to their bank accounts need to withdraw the amount and pay their fee to the college or university.

ELIGIBILITY

All the citizens of the particular state are not eligible. There are few conditions applied, as;

  • The students belonging to SC and ST, but the annual income of their family must be below 2 lakh INR
  • The students belonging to the backward class, but the annual income of the family must not be above 1 lakh INR.
  • The students who are brilliant in their academics, but are financially weak and their parents are unable to pay the fee for their higher education.
  • The student living in Himachal Pradesh must be residing and must be a citizen of the particular state for which the scholarship scheme belongs.
  • The student who at least have a minimum of 75% of attendance in the last institute/ college or university attended.
  • The student who has achieved a minimum of 65% in the eligibility examination.
  • The student must have studied in an affiliated college or institution of the state.
  • The age of the student must be above seventeen (17) years.
  • The documents must be proper and original and must clear the need for the present year.

COURSES OFFERED

The students are able to register their application for their Undergraduate and Post Graduate studies. Himachal Pradesh epass scholarship scheme is valid for the studies of Pre and Post matric scholarship application for UG and PG students, for which the application form is available at epass official website.

APPLICATION REGISTRATION FOR FRESH CANDIDATE

For fresh application;

  • The student needs to visit the official website.
  • On the top front of the home page, there will be an option “student login”, the student needs to click this option.
  • After selecting student login option, there will be options for the students. Then the student needs to click on “new student registration” option.
  • Select the scheme you are applying for, Pre-matric or Post matric scholarship scheme.
  • Select the year you are applying for.
  • Select the option asked for Aadhar card, in yes or no.
  • Then fill the personal detail asked (UID or EID number, students name, fathers name, mothers name, date of birth, category, sub-category, mobile number, email id)
  • All the fields with star (*) are mandatory.
  • Cross check the details provided and make sure them to be correct.
  • Click on the “Register” button.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The students need to submit their desired documents for their verification. The scholarship fund will only be given to those who are eligible. The students have to submit their documents as a proof of their eligibility and identity. The student must submit their valid and proper bank details, as the scholarship funds will be credited to the bank and the wrong information can bring them the loss. Documents needed are;

  • Caste certificate (as the proof of the caste to which the student belong)
  • Income certificate (proof of annual income of the parents)
  • Birth certificate (of the candidate showing his /her birth place and also as an age proof)

RENEWAL OF APPLICATION

If the student had already registered for scholarship scheme. He/ she can log in by providing the login ID and their password. The login ID and password will be provided at the time of their fresh application. The students need to renew their application every year, till the end of the academic session he/ she had applied for. The student will need to submit the desired documents for renewal of their application.

CHECKING ONLINE STATUS OF THE APPLICATION

The scholarship funds will directly be deposited in the bank account of the students. The students need to check their application status time to time. The student needs to login to the official website using the login ID and password. Then enter the application number properly and cross check. The status of the application number will be shown on the screen. The students need to check their bank accounts also in case the scholarship funds have been credited.

CANCELLATION OF APPLICATION

The applications can be canceled by the government if found any mistake. The students must submit all the original documents so that while verification they could not face problems. What is the epass application? The epass application is an application which is filled by the students for their scholarship funds. Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarship (epass), is a scheme which is run by the government for the students for their higher education. This is an online system, where the students can register, fill the application form, upload documents, check their application status and also can get the latest news updated regarding the scholarship they had applied for. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

The students need to submit the required documents for completing the process of application registration. The documents which are required are;

  • SSLC Marks card.
  • PUC Marks Card.
  • Passport size photograph. (photo of the student who applied for the scholarship, as an identity)
  • Caste/ Community certificate. (for the confermation of the category of the student, as a caste proof)
  • Income certificate. (showing the annual income of family, which should not exceed 2 lakh)
  • Disability certificate.

ELIGIBILITY 

  • The students who belong to SC (Schedule Caste) and ST (Schedule Tribe) and the annual income of the family does not exceed than two lakh rupees are eligible for this scholarship
  • The students who belong to Backward Caste, EBC and Disabled students and the annual income of the family do not exceed than One lakh rupees are eligible for this scholarship.
  • The students must have at least 75% of attendance in their last attended academic course to be eligible for applying for this scholarship.
  • The student must be studying in the government recognized university in Karnataka state to apply in this scholarship.
  • The students must upload all the required documents, the documents must be original.

KNOWING THE APPLICATION STATUS

The students will need to check their application status after submitting their application for scholarship scheme. The students will need their application number which they will get when they will register for this scholarship. The student must visit on the official website and click on the link provided to check their application status. After clicking on the link the student will get few required fields to fill and submit. RENEWAL OF APPLICATION

Step 2: After redirecting to the “Application Status” Page, fill up the required information in the online form as mentioned below.

  • Application Number: Enter your ePass 2017 application number.
  • Academic Year: Enter your academic year.
  • SSLC Pass Type: Enter the Board name from which you have completed your SSC i.e. Karnataka Regular, CBSE, ICSE or any Other State Board.
  • Year of Pass: Enter your SSC passing year.

Step 3: After filling up all the details, click on the “Get Status” button. By following this procedure, you can check the whether the scholarship amount has been deposited and sent to your corresponding college or not.

Step I: Visit the official website of KAR ePass i.e. www.karepass.cgg.gov.in and click on the second tab “Know Your Application Number” on the left side of the homepage of the website.

RENEWAL

SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Telangana state has released a scholarship scheme with the help and guidance of their honorable chief minister Chandrashekar Rao. This scholarship scheme is released for those students who want to continue their studies further but are unable to do because of their financial condition.

Those students who are good at their academics and want to study further or belong to any minority class are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme. This scholarship is for the students who are at school doing their 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and doing their graduation. The students can apply for their post metric studies.

The post matric scholarship is the scholarship which is for the students by the welfare departments of the government for enabling eligible students who have passed the tenth standard to pursue post matric studies.

The students can apply for fresh as well to renew their application.

TELANGANA E PASS APPLICATION STATUS

The students now can check the status of their application. The students only need to go to the homepage of the official website and click “know your application status” button. The students will get a short form to be filled. The students need to fill the details asked that is the application number, SSC exam number, SSC pass type, academic year, year of pass and date of birth. On filling up the details students must recheck the details and click on the “get status” button. Now the application status will be shown to the students.

FRESH REGISTRATION

The students who will apply for the first time are the students who need to select the option “Apply Fresh Application” on the homepage of the official website for Telangana ePass. There will be few details asked to be filled in the form. The students need to fill the details and will get their registration number and their ID. The registration number and ID must be kept safe by the student so that next time the student can use it to renew their application form.

  • The students who are pursuing the online courses or part time courses.
  • The students who got admission on any other reservation basis.
  • The students who spend more money than fixed amount of scholarship for their annual course.
  • The students who are studying from any open university or doing any distance course.
